Which is Faster: ChatGPT or Bard?

This is likely because Bard is trained on a larger dataset of text and code, and has access to the internet in real time. ChatGPT, on the other hand, is trained on a smaller dataset of text and code, and does not have access to the internet in real time.

In addition to the speed of response, Bard also offers a more user-friendly experience. When you ask Bard to generate text, it will immediately provide you with three different drafts to choose from. This allows you to quickly select the draft that best meets your needs. ChatGPT, on the other hand, does not offer this option. You must first generate the text, and then you can regenerate it if you are not satisfied with the results.

Who is the better coder: Bard or ChatGPT?

To find out which AI chatbot is better at coding, we asked both Bard and ChatGPT to write JavaScript code that outputs prime numbers from 1 to 10,000.

• Bard

Chat-GPT coding :

The code provided by ChatGPT is better than the code provided by Bard because it uses the Sieve of Eratosthenes algorithm, which is a more efficient algorithm for finding prime numbers. The Sieve of Eratosthenes algorithm works by creating a list of all numbers from 2 to n. It then marks all of the multiples of 2 as non-prime. It then continues to mark all of the multiples of the next unmarked number as non-prime. This process continues until all of the numbers in the list have been checked. The numbers that are not marked as non-prime are prime.

The algorithm provided by Bard is less efficient because it has to check every number from 2 to n. This is because it does not use the Sieve of Eratosthenes algorithm.

In his recent video, AI enthusiast and YouTuber Matthew Berman tested the coding abilities of ChatGPT and Bard by asking them to generate the game Pong in JavaScript. ChatGPT provided more complete and functional code than Bard. Berman noted that both models have some limitations: Bard is not yet able to generate code for complex tasks, and ChatGPT’s training data is outdated. As these models continue to develop, they will likely become more capable of generating code that is both accurate and functional.
